A Family Across Generations
From Marienwerder and Rosenberg in old West Prussia to Posen, Meseritz, and the ministries of Berlin, four families — Muthreich, Stumpf, Holz, Mudrack — wove a single story of state officials, scholars, foresters, and borderland settlers along the Vistula.
Their name carried German Bürgertum and Slavic roots alike, surviving partitions, empires, and the upheavals of two world wars.
This is more than genealogy.
It is a living legacy carried across generations.
Ancestor Spotlight

Captured in 1933, this photograph offers a rare window into the world of an earlier Muthreich generation — formal dress, gathered family, a moment held still against the rising tides of the twentieth century.
Each face here carries a thread of who we are today. Their hopes, hardships, and quiet victories shaped the family that continues to grow across continents.
